Modern troops from the Canadian and US military are brought together to train using the same methods and equipment used by World War Two’s First Special Service Force - also known as the Devil's Brigade. After their intensive training, they travel to Europe to attempt one of the daring Devil’s Brigade missions that was crucial in bringing about the end of the war.
