As a family, we feel honored that our late husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather’s picture was chosen to be entered on this website.  We feel a further special connection to this site as one month later, in May, 1945, Norman met a Dutch girl who became his bride and life’s partner.

I was thrilled to be told of this photo of my father (Norman Joseph Ingram)  on this site, as there are so few wartime photos around.  My father passed away several years ago, and this photo of him jogged my memory as to the man he really was.  Norman John Ingram (59 years )
