My father Lance Corporal Frederick Woodward, of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, was woulded in the Battle of Hochwald, in February 1945, treated in a field hospital and as it appeared he was improving, he was shipped to England.  He died April 21, 1945.  I was just 6 yrs. old, and after his death, we lost contact with his siblings and family.  As I get older, I have a deep need to know where he was shipped to and treated in England.  He's buried in Brookwood Cemetery in Surrey and I am going to see his grave in May 2012.  Is there possibly just anyone out there, who may have known him, maybe served with him?  Please, just any information would help me.  I've been trying for years and just found this website.   Thank you.     Carol Burak   cburaka174@rogers.com
